PT Kubota Machinery Indonesia (KMI) is a subsidiary of Kubota Corporation Japan. KMI was established at Jakarta in 2012 and still grew leap and bounds today. KMI now has grew into a head office, a training center, and a warehouse in Jakarta, also has 2 branch offices and another warehouses in Surabaya & Makassar. The amount of employees also grew into 100 full-time employees spread between the head office, branch offices, and KMI warehouses.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Community Engagement Officer located in Jakarta. The candidate will be expected to:

  • Develop community engagement by facilitating regular interactions and discussions among customers through various channels, including online forums, social media, and online/offline events
  • Provide personalized support to customers, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
  • Plan, organize, and execute end to end community activity, engagement event, brand activation/marketing events both online and offline
  • Build relation and collaboration with relevant external stakeholders with customer of PT Kubota Machinery Indonesia communities and dealer to create partnership
  • Collect and analyse customers feedback to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to implement enhancements based on community input


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2-3 years experience in community management, event planning, or a related role
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing event management software and technical related things (audio and logistic for events) for seamless planning, execution, and analysis of both virtual and offline events
  • Confidence in public speaking, presentation and hosting events
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of social media platforms and community dynamics
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a dynamic environment
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Fluent in English and Javanese is preferred
  • Experience in a similar role in a company engaged in heavy machinery is a plus
  • Placement in South Jakarta

Sales (Corporate/B2B) Staff

Role Description
  • Seek for opportunities on new market and also existing market (in plantation) and create marketing strategies to achieving sales target.
  • Make plan for the most effective and efficient way to marketing the product and developing the market itself.
  • Make plans for the most effective and efficient way to achieve sales target.

Job Description

  • Make proposal of target and time table of activity plan of market expansion for one year.
  • Monitors and conduct market survey in corporate market (oil palm, sugarcane, etc).
  • Monitors and conduct market survey in government marketk
  • Conduct survey to new area or potential customer (corporate, factory, contractor) at new area (no dealer) and/or at existing dealer area.
  • Report survey result and develop strategies for each case.
  • Analyze and monitor the market share of Kubota in every dealer’s area for each Kubota’s product.
  • Conduct market and customer survey to introduce new product.
  • Monitor competitor’s activities and develop strategies for countermeasure.
  • Giving information and advise that needed to solve or settle a condition to assistant sales manager or sales manager.


  • Minimum Bachelor degree In Engineering / Management
  • Minimum 1 years working experience. Having knowledge at plantation company (palm oil, sugarcane, rubber, etc) and/or mining related industry and/or government sector industry is a plus
