Untuk memastikan mekanik dealer-dealer resmi memiliki keahlian yang mumpuni dalam melayani kebutuhan pelanggan setia KUBOTA, PT Kubota Machinery Indonesia kembali mengadakan kompetisi Dealer Service Technical Skill Contest di Jakarta. The competition was attended by KUBOTA authorized dealer mechanics from all over Indonesia.

After three years of not organizing a skill contest competition due to the COVID-19 pandemic, PT Kubota Machinery Indonesia once again holds a Service Technical Skill Contest. The competition which was held on July 27, 2023 was attended by 8 participants from KUBOTA authorized dealers. KUBOTA authorized dealers who sent their participants include PT Bina Pertiwi, PT Sukses Jayamas Mandiri, PT Pilar Putra Teknik, CV Sumber Mesin, CV Cahaya Agri Sentosa, CV Surya Perkasa Mandiri, CV Argo Jaya, and PT Multi Andalan Sejati.

In this skill contest, participants will compete in solving problems that KUBOTA customers often face in using their agricultural machinery. The contest is divided into two stages, the practical test and the written test.

During this year’s practical test, participants were faced with a DC-93 unit and had to solve 5 problems on the unit in just 90 minutes. Then in the written test, participants had to work on questions related to technical problems in the KUBOTA unit. This is intended to demonstrate the ability of the participants not only in theoretical knowledge, but also when faced directly with KUBOTA agricultural machinery.

“This contest is an example of a dealer’s after-sales service, how to keep a customer’s unit ready to operate. Dealer mechanics are expected to solve problems systematically and explain solutions to customers so that customers can understand easily,” said Mr. Itaru Kamiya, President Director of PT Kubota Machinery Indonesia.

Dealer Service Technical Skill Contest 2023 is won by a mechanic from PT Bina Pertiwi, Mr. Susilo Puji Utomo. The second place was won by Mr. Irsan Herdianto from PT Sukses Jayamas Mandiri and Mr. Novi Tri Aryadi from PT Pilar Putra Teknik.

In addition to the technical skill contest between mechanics of KUBOTA authorized dealers, on July 24, 2023 a similar contest was held for KUBOTA’s internal after-sales staff. The first place winner was Mr. Fakih Hadi from PT Kubota Machinery Indonesia Gresik branch, followed by the second place winner from PT Kubota Machinery Indonesia Makassar branch, Mr. Indra Jaya and the third place winner from PT Kubota Machinery Indonesia Jakarta branch, Mr. Rizky Dwi Printo.
