KUBOTA Global President’s Inaugural Visit to Indonesia

On July 8-11, 2024, KUBOTA Global President and Representative Director, Mr. Yuichi Kitao, paid an official visit to Indonesia. This visit marks Mr. Kitao’s first visit to Indonesia as president of KUBOTA, with an important agenda involving strategic meetings and site visits with KUBOTA’s key partners in Indonesia.

During the visit, Mr. Kitao was accompanied by a number of senior executives from KUBOTA Global, namely Mr. Yoshimitsu Ishibashi (Senior Managing Executive of PT KUBOTA), Mr. Katsuyuki Shutta (General Manager of President’s), Mr. Kenichi Miyauchi (Deputy Manager of President’s), and Mr. Koji Soga (Farm and Industrial Machinery International Planning and Control Department). Their presence demonstrates the importance of the Indonesian market in KUBOTA’s global plans, especially in the agricultural and industrial sectors.

The main agenda of Mr. Kitao’s visit included meetings with PT KMI (Kubota Machinery Indonesia) authorized dealers, namely PT Bina Pertiwi and PT Pilar Putra Teknik. The meeting aimed to strengthen the strategic partnership between KUBOTA and local dealers, ensuring optimal support for customers in Indonesia. In addition, Mr. Kitao also visited one of KUBOTA’s customers, PT Astra Agro Lestari.

As part of his visit agenda, Mr. Kitao also took the time to visit PT KMI’s head office in Jakarta. This visit reflects KUBOTA’s commitment to support its operations in Indonesia and strengthen its local network and infrastructure to provide the best service for its customers.

The visit emphasized the importance of Indonesia as a strategic market for KUBOTA, especially in its contribution to increasing the productivity of the agricultural sector through modern technology.
