Beginning 2023, PT Kubota Machinery Indonesia officially cooperates with Bank Nasional Indonesia (BNI) in conducting the People’s Business Credit (KUR) program for farming businesses. This cooperation was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement (PKS) at the end of December 2022.

BNI’s KUR program is a business capital loan/financing to individuals, entities or business groups that are productive and feasible. This financing only costs 6% interest per year with the agricultural machinery (alsintan) serving as collateral.

“Hopefully with this BNI KUR program, farmers and business people in Indonesia can more easily get alsintan with fairly low interest. We hope this program can increase the ratio of agricultural mechanization in Indonesia and increase food productivity and support the Indonesian government’s alsintan taxi program,” said Melinda T Wulan, Sales Manager of PT Kubota Machinery Indonesia.

“This KUR program is open to all farming commodities, not only rice but also corn, palm oil, porang, oranges, and others. The maximum period is 3 years, so it is quite easy for KUR recipients,” said Timothy Adityo, BNI Relationship Manager.
